Putting Things in Order

Dear Lord,

Thank you for the grace and mercy you give me each day. Lord, I ask that you bless me with the wisdom and discernment that I need to prepare myself for success. Your word tells me that I am to put my “work in order and get my fields ready, before building my house.” I interpret this scripture to say that you require me to build a strong foundation of organization, structure and discipline before moving full speed into building the life, career, business, relationships of my dreams. Lord, I ask you for the guidance, strength and wisdom necessary to deal with my present so that I can reap the full benefits of my future. I will not worry about the past, present or future. Instead, I will do what is right at all times; be disciplined in doing the work necessary to succeed; and trust that you, Lord Jesus, will give me the desires of my heart … so long as it is all for your glory. In your precious name I pray.
